How True Nursing Came To Be
After working for more than twenty years in the home health field I became disillusioned with the system. I was discharging people from services when they were not able to adequately care for themselves due to lack of knowledge or resources. Even though their needs were ongoing, Medicare/Medicaid would no longer pay for visits. Services that were not reimbursed for included ongoing disease education and medication management, skilled foot care, and activities of daily living (ADL) assistance. These services are what I call "doughnut hole" services. Needed but not reinbursed for. I decided to return to school for my master's degree in nursing education and start my own business filling the "doughnut hole" needs of the adult and senior population. Thus, True Nursing was born.

True Nursing offers a variety of services to meet your health and wellness needs. Group and individual services are available.
Group Programming
Designed for group of 10-30 people. Is a great way to reach a population with easy to understand information tailored to your audience. Minimum cost is $60 per hour.
Clinic Settings
Blood Pressure and Skilled Foot Care clinics. Designed to monitor and educate. Can be done weekly or monthly. Prices vary based on services and frequency required.
Individual Services
Designed to meet idvidual needs one on one. Can be for yourself or a loved one. These can be short or long term depending on needs. Prices vary depending on services required.
